Overview
We are looking for a motivated and organised HR Graduate to support the delivery, management and continuous improvement of our Early Careers programmes. This is an exciting opportunity to gain broad exposure across HR while playing a key role in shaping the experience of placements, graduates, apprentices and students across the organisation.
You will work closely with HR colleagues, hiring managers, training providers and external partners to ensure our Early Careers initiatives are well‑coordinated, compliant and deliver a positive experience for all participants.
Responsibilities
* Support the end‑to‑end delivery of Early Careers programmes, including placements, graduate hires, apprenticeships, work experience and school/university outreach initiatives.
* Act as a point of contact for students, apprentices, managers and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
* Support engagement activities such as inductions, events, reviews and outreach initiatives.
* Prioritise programme activities and tasks, balancing competing demands throughout the recruitment and onboarding lifecycle.
* Maintain accurate programme records, compliance documentation and HR systems data in line with GDPR and internal processes.
* Identify opportunities to improve programme efficiency, processes and participant experience, proposing practical improvements.
Qualifications
* Organised, proactive and comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
* Strong attention to detail and clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
* Confidence in producing accurate reports, tracking information and maintaining structured records.
* Knowledge of HR processes, recruitment activities and/or early careers programmes.
* Awareness of employment legislation, HR compliance and data protection principles (GDPR).
* Experience in an HR environment through internships, placements, temporary roles or volunteering.
* Either in final year of study (graduating before summer 2026) or have completed a degree in the last 1-3 years in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline.
