About the Role This is an exciting alternative career path for Registered General Nurses and Paramedics with three or more years post qualification experience who want something different from the usual clinical setting. As a Forensic Custody Healthcare Professional you will • Provide high quality care to detainees in police custody • Manage a variety of health needs from drug and alcohol dependency to acute medical episodes • Be trained to collect forensic samples that support police investigations Experience in forensics is not required as full accredited training is provided. With 6 main custody suites spread across Banbury, Abingdon, Milton Keynes, Maidenhead, Aylesbury, and Loddon Valley, The CCC will provide essential healthcare support where it's needed most. A minimum of 5 years post qualification experience acute medical healthcare experience. Previous experience as a Forensic Custody Healthcare Professional. Desirable Criteria Previous experience in any of the following would be ideal to assist you in the role; A&E, Walk in Centre, Paramedic Practitioner, Substance Misuse, Community Nursing, Police Custody, Prison, or other relevant discipline.
