The business has grown significantly over recent years and continues to invest in improving processes, systems, and ways of working. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Credit Controller / Credit Control Administrator to support their busy finance team. This is a fast‑paced, demanding, yet highly rewarding environment where you will be able to develop your skills and take on new challenges.
Your new role
In this Credit Controller / Administrator position, you will support the credit control function while also carrying out a range of finance and administrative duties. You will manage multiple ledgers, assist with customer account maintenance, and ensure the smooth running of day‑to‑day credit processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing credit control activity across several ledgers
2. Chasing overdue invoices via phone, email, and writtenmunication
3. Ensuring payments are received in line with agreed terms
4. Processing new credit applications and monitoring customer credit limits
5. Supporting the negotiation of payment plans and settlements
6. Preparing reports on outstanding debt and collection progress
7. Handling customer queries and resolving billing or payment issues
8. Posting receipts, updating customer accounts, andpleting reconciliations
9. Producing monthly statements and reminder letters
10. Providing general administrative support to the finance team
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
11. Experience in credit control or a finance administration role
12. Strongmunication and customer‑facing skills
13. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
14. Good organisational ability
15. Confidence in working independently and as part of a team
16. Good working knowledge of Excel (advantageous)
