We are seeking a Care Support Assistant to work in our nurturing and inclusive school environment. This role is ideal for someone with experience in care, SEND, or support roles, and who thrives on making a real difference in children's daily lives.
About the Role:
* Providing personal care and wellbeing support to pupils who need additional help throughout the school day
* Supporting children with physical, sensory, or medical needs in line with care plans and EHCPs
* Assisting with mobility, feeding, hygiene routines, and toileting where necessary
* Ensuring each child feels safe, respected, and included in all aspects of school life
* Working closely with teachers, SEND staff, and external professionals
* Promoting independence and confidence in each child you support
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
* Has experience in a care or school support role (early years, SEN, or health and social care desirable)
* Is empathetic, discreet, and professional at all times
* Can build strong, trusting relationships with children and staff
* Is confident supporting pupils with varying levels of physical and emotional needs
* Is a team player with a positive and proactive attitude
