With a hands-on culture and close proximity to its clients, Sogeti is currently looking for a Test Lead to join our Quality Engineering and Test Practice, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving impactful value creation for our clients.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role
1. Design and implement effective automation test strategies and frameworks aligned with business goals.
2. Experience creating or adapting automation frameworks
3. Lead the development and maintenance of automated test solutions using tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Tricentis Tosca, or Keysight EggPlant.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, analysts, and architects to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC.
5. Guide teams in BDD practices using tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow.
6. Manage and version control test assets using GIT and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
7. Experience creating or adapting automation frameworks
8. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
9. Proven ability to lead teams and influence without authority.
10. Strategic mindset with the ability to align testing efforts with business objectives.
11. Engage with stakeholders at all levels to communicate test strategies, progress, and outcomes effectively.
12. Contribute to the evolution of testing practices in Agile, DevOps, and Waterfall environments.

Your skills and experience
13. Proficiency in at least one OOP language (Java, Python, C#).
14. Hands-on experience with functional and automation testing across web, API, and mobile platforms.
15. Familiarity with test management tools (Jira, TFS, ALM).
16. Experience with Postman, Ready API, Soap UI for API testing.
17. ISTQB Foundation certification (or willingness to obtain it with company support).
18. Experience in continuous testing and test optimization in CI/CD environments.
19. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
20. Strategic mindset with the ability to align testing efforts with business objectives.
