Primary or Secondary Tutors

Are you passionate about education and helping students reach their full potential? We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated tutors to join our team in Hampshire.

Position: Primary or Secondary level Tutors

Location: Hampshire

Hours: Flexible part-time (work as much or little as you like, up to 30 hours per week)

Salary: GBP25-GBP30 depending on experience

Start Date: ASAP

Here at Randstad, we collaborate closely with the local authority in Worcester, seeking additional tutoring for students in Maths, English, and Science. We welcome motivated individuals with experience working with children in the area who are passionate about entering the field of education. An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one is preferred.

We are looking for individuals interested in teaching the following subjects:

* Primary or Secondary: Maths, English, Science

Your Key Responsibilities

* Develop personalized lesson plans based on each student's learning style
* Assess student progress, identify areas for improvement, and record achievement levels using our internal reporting system
* Deliver engaging sessions catering to various learning styles
* Achieve measurable outcomes from each session to assess impact
* Collaborate with educational and care stakeholders to support students
* Adhere to KCSIE and safeguarding guidelines


Desired Experience

* Previous experience tutoring one-to-one or small groups needing additional support
* Ability to accept supervision and constructive feedback
* Experience working in inclusion units, special settings, or alternative provisions
* Familiarity with supporting students with SEN, undiagnosed SEN, disengaged young people, or looked-after children


Essential Qualities

* Effective and adaptable communication skills
* Proficiency in IT, access to a laptop/computer, and audio-visual capabilities
* Reliable broadband and internet connection
* Ability to build meaningful relationships and motivate students
