In this Governance role, you’ll support important meetings and help ensure decisions are well-informed and clearly recorded. It’s an important role that helps school leaders make good decisions and create great places to learn.
Job Title: Governance Professional (Clerk to the Academy Council)
Location: Remote with travel to designated schools in Northamptonshire and occasional travel to other destinations as required (Travel cost will be reimbursed)
Salary: Up to £30, FTE (up to £22,.83 actual)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Part time, 30 Hours a week (Term time plus 2 weeks)

About You:
As a Governance Professional (Clerk) at Creative Education Trust, you’ll use your great organisation skills and eye for detail to help our school councils work well. You’ll play an important part in making sure everything runs smoothly and decisions are properly supported.
Our ideal candidate would:
·Administration Experience: Have worked in admin roles before, ideally in schools or governance, and be confident managing important documents and records.
·Clear Communication: Be able to explain things simply, give helpful advice, and support councils in making good decisions.
·Governance Understanding: Know the rules and systems school councils need to follow, and help make sure everything is done properly and on time.
