We are looking to recruit an Office Administrator/Receptionist/Legal Secretary. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone with office assistant experience to commence or expand their career within a growing law firm.
We provide full training for new team members.
Your main duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
* To undertake all administration duties as requested and be prepared to use a high degree of self-management and initiative.
* Taking/making telephone calls in a professional and polite manner
* Liaising with clients, third parties and others
* Opening new personal injury claims and other cases, which requires a high level of data entry and accuracy
* Closing and archiving files
* Providing assistance to a team of Solicitors covering a wide range of tasks when required
* General filing, scanning and photocopying
* Sorting and handling daily post
* Working with the firm's case management system to ensure documents are generated to various parties
* To perform other responsibilities assigned by the management as and when requested
To be considered for this role, you should be able to demonstrate the following skills:
* Customer service or office experience is essential
* Strong grammatical and communication skills - always need to communicate effectively and confidently in a polite manner
* Must be confident on the telephone with previous experience - outbound/inbound calls
* This is a busy role, requiring a high level of accuracy and the ability to switch between tasks.
* IT Literate, ability to work Microsoft Applications and adapt to the firms case management system
* Ability to work to deadlines
* A team player
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
* Ability to use a high degree of self-management and initiative.
