Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced S/4HANA Finance Consultant to support the delivery and optimisation of SAP S/4HANA Finance within a public sector environment. The consultant will work closely with finance stakeholders, programme teams, and systems integrators to ensure compliant, efficient, and robust finance processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support configuration of S/4HANA Finance modules (e.g. GL, AP, AR, AA).
* Translate public sector finance requirements into SAP S/4HANA solutions.
* Support data migration, testing (SIT/UAT), and cutover activities.
* Advise on best practice, financial controls, and compliance requirements.
* Provide functional expertise during implementation and post-go-live support.
* Work collaboratively with business, technical, and change teams.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as an SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI) Consultant.
* Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes.
* Experience working on SAP implementations or transformations.
* Previous public sector experience (desirable).
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Desirable
* Knowledge of public sector financial governance and reporting.
* Experience with SAP Activate methodology.
* Security clearance or eligibility to obtain clearance.
