We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Change Communications Specialist to lead and evolve our communications approach across Global Shared Business Services (GSBS). You will play a pivotal role in embedding our GSBS strategy, driving engagement through meaningful internal communications, and strengthening our external-facing communications and brand with key stakeholders. Working closely with the GSBS Leadership Team, Change Managers, and Group Communications, this role blends creativity, strategic thinking, and precision in execution.
Global Shared Business Services (GSBS) is a critical enabling function of RS Group, providing operating leverage, delivering value-adding services, and creating exceptional stakeholder experiences. This is an exciting time as we execute on our six strategic pillars: E2E Service Model, Operational Excellence, Delivery Model, Location Strategy, Sourcing Model, and People and Capabilities. This position can be based in Corby, London, or Manchester, with a hybrid working model.
What you'll be doing:
1. Strategic Communications & Storytelling: Understand the Group strategy, share the organization’s story, and align messaging to create a sense of belonging and purpose.
2. Internal Communications: Develop communication strategies and plans, manage newsletters, town halls, leadership updates, and internal social platforms, ensuring content resonates globally.
3. Customer & External-Facing Communications: Strengthen communication with customers through updates and content.
4. Group-Level Engagement: Collaborate with Group Communications to identify and share success stories, and contribute to group channels.
5. Project & Ad-Hoc Communications: Support communication workstreams for projects, transformation, and change initiatives, ensuring clarity and coordination.
6. Visual Content & Channels: Create visual content like dashboards and infographics, leveraging modern tools for engaging content.
7. Stakeholder & Channel Management: Manage stakeholder groups, drive consistent messaging, and navigate review processes.
8. Leadership Support & Strategic Counsel: Advise senior leaders on communication strategies, scripting, and messaging.
