This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a groundbreaking pilot service in Grantham, Lincolnshire! We are looking for passionate and experienced individuals to help shape a new initiative that supports individuals transitioning from acute mental health wards back into the community. This service, launching in October 2025, will be delivered in partnership with the Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Trust as part of the NHS Mental Health Pathway.
At Turning Point, we are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those facing mental health challenges. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a crucial role in empowering individuals to reach their full potential.
If you are enthusiastic about helping others gain the skills they need to live independently, this role is for you! You will manage a small caseload and contribute to the day-to-day operations of our service.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Recovery Worker, you will:
* Provide recovery-focused support through key working sessions and group activities.
* Develop tailored support and risk management plans for individuals.
* Ensure effective discharge planning to facilitate smooth transitions.
* Encourage positive change and independence in the lives of those you support.
* Work on a 24-hour rolling rota, including evenings, weekends, and waking night shifts.
