Role and Responsibilities of MOT Tester
* Carry out MOT testing
* Communicate directly with customers to identify / understand concerns with vehicle running performance and to advise about technical issues
* Road test vehicles on completion of repair / service work, also accompanying customers for demonstration of vehicle concerns or faults
* Receive ongoing manufacturer training, both in-house and external training centres
* Support others around the business by performing to the best of your ability

The ideal candidate:
* Experience as a MOT Tester
* Possesses technical knowledge of a range of vehicle makes and models
* Able to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues alike
* Demonstrates a strong customer focus and takes pride in delivering a high-quality experience that is second-to-none
* Is well-presented and able to engage and build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
* Can work quickly, while maintaining quality assurance in order to maximise workshop capacity
* Thrives and remains calm under pressure, whilst meeting deadlines
Key requirements:
* Qualified & experienced MOT Tester (essential)
* Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
* A desire to provide exceptional customer experiences
* Computer literate and can easily learn new systems

Working pattern:
* Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
* Every other Saturday: 8:30am – 12:30pm
