This is not a generic junior marketing role.
The Staff Canteen is the UK’s leading digital platform for chefs and hospitality professionals, with one of the largest and most engaged social audiences in the sector.
We work with leading chefs, rising talent, standout restaurants and major hospitality names, creating the stories, videos and social content that keep the industry connected.
We’re now looking for a Social Media & Content Executive to join our team in Bournemouth.
This is a rare opportunity for someone early in their career who has strong social instincts, a real love of food and hospitality, and the ambition to build their future inside a fast-moving digital business.
You’ll help shape content across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube, working closely with our editorial and video teams to turn great stories into social-first content that gets watched, shared and remembered.
What you’ll be doing:
* Creating and publishing content across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube
* Editing short-form video for TikTok, Reels and YouTube Shorts
* Writing captions, hooks and platform-native copy
* Supporting content planning across chef stories, restaurant features, shoots and events
* Monitoring engagement and spotting what performs best
What we’re looking for:
* A genuine interest in food, restaurants or hospitality
* Strong social media instincts
* Confidence with short-form copy and content creation
* Curiosity, creativity and initiative
* Someone based in, or within easy reach of, Bournemouth / Dorset
