As Senior Chef de Partie, you’ll play a key role within the kitchen leadership team, taking ownership of your section and contributing to the overall success of the hotel’s food and beverage operation.

The opportunity
Working closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef, you’ll be responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard within your speciality. You’ll lead by example on the pass and in preparation, ensuring quality, pace and presentation are never compromised.
You’ll also support the development of the wider kitchen team, supervising and coaching Demi Chef de Parties and Commis Chefs, and helping to build capability, confidence and pride across your section. Alongside this, you’ll contribute to menu development, portion and waste control, stock management and cost awareness, ensuring commercial performance sits comfortably alongside creativity and quality.
Food safety, cleanliness and organisation will be second nature to you, with a strong appreciation for health and safety standards and best practice at all times.
What we’re looking for
You’ll bring strong technical cooking skills, with a solid understanding of ingredients, flavours and modern kitchen techniques. Calm under pressure, you’ll be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining standards and attention to detail.
You’ll be organised, confident in delegating and capable of managing your section with minimal supervision. An understanding of food cost control and profit margins is essential, enabling you to contribute to a well-run, commercially effective kitchen.
