We are seeking a dedicated Fire Surveyor for a permanent position with a well known housing association based in South Manchester - One Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest fire safety standards across a portfolio of residential properties in the Manchester area.

Description
* Conduct thorough reviews of FRA's carried out by care takers/ external providers on One Manchester's housing stock
* Producing detailed fire safety reports and recommendations
* Pre & Post works sign off
* Ensuring all properties comply with current fire safety regulations.
* Providing fire safety advice and training to staff and residents.
* Working closely with local fire services and other regulatory bodies.
* Managing fire safety improvement projects from inception to completion.
* Keeping up to date with changes in fire safety legislation and best practice.
* Contributing to the development of organisational fire safety policies and procedures.
* Supporting the wider building safety team.
* Providing Technical Support.
* Engaging with customers.
* Contractor management.
Profile
* Relevant Fire Safety, Surveying or Construction qualifications
* Experience working in a similar role for a residential provider
* Thorough understanding of fire safety within social housing
* Management of external contractors, consultants, customers and stakeholders
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent IT skills
