TeacherActive is working with a fantastic school in South Birmingham that is looking to employ a long-term Supply Teacher for general cover within the school, starting immediately. The Teacher will be required to cover a wide range of subjects and must be happy following direction from class Teachers both verbally & written. Strong behaviour management skills in the classroom are key for this role, as day to day you will be required to ensure pupils are adhering to rules and following lesson plans effectively.
There is scope for both full & part time work at the school; please let us know which you'd prefer at the application stage.
As a Supply Teacher/ Cover Supervisor, you will require the following:
* Strong classroom management
* Over 6 months experience within an educational setting
* The ability to cover a variety of subject areas
* Good communication skills
* A good knowledge of the National Curriculum
* A passion for teaching and a desire to make a difference
