2. Location: Gloucester
3. Salary: £35,000 per annum (approx. £18 per hour)
4. Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 18:00 plus ROTA weekends
5. Start Date: As soon as possible
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Non-Pharmacist Manager to lead a busy independent pharmacy in Gloucester. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing both people and processes.
The pharmacy dispenses approximately 23,000 - 24,000 items per month and is supported by robotic dispensing (Titan system), allowing for efficient workflow and a focus on team leadership and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
6. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy
7. Lead, motivate, and manage the pharmacy team to ensure high performance
8. Ensure smooth dispensing processes and workflow efficiency
9. Maintain excellent customer service standards
10. Manage staffing, rotas, and performance
11. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company procedures
12. Work closely with the pharmacist and wider team to deliver safe and effective services
Requirements
13. Proven management experience (essential)
14. Strong leadership and organisational skills
15. Ability to work in a high-volume environment
16. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
17. A proactive and solutions-focused approach
18. Desirable (but not essential)
19. Dispensing experience
20. Pharmacy Technician qualification or equivalent
21. Experience working within a community pharmacy setting
22. Familiarity with Titan or automated dispensing systems
