Senior Weddings & Private Events Executive

Searcys is looking for a Senior Weddings & Private Events Executive to join the team at 116 Pall Mall.

As a Senior Weddings & Private Events Executive, you will generate sales and maximize weddings and private events for the venue. You will oversee the entire wedding sales and planning process, from initial inquiries to event coordination, ensuring a high-quality and memorable experience for clients.

116 Pall Mall is a stunning Georgian venue dating back to 1820 in the heart of London. Originally designed by John Nash, the architect behind Marble Arch and Brighton Pavilion, this venue features traditional meeting rooms and glamorous chandelier-filled ballrooms.

Job Type: Full Time

1. Deliver sales to achieve monthly and annual wedding and private events targets, increasing year-over-year revenue for the Weddings business at 116 Pall Mall, and growing the private events sector for birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
2. Support corporate enquiries where required, with a focus on Weddings and private events.
3. Handle incoming enquiries according to Sales Department standards and convert them into confirmed bookings.
4. Produce reports for the Head of Sales and GM on wedding business performance and potential opportunities.
5. Prepare proposals for new enquiries, ensuring venue standards are met and client expectations are maximized.
6. Conduct show rounds and client visits to a high standard.
7. Ensure venue product knowledge and seasonal menus are communicated to clients.
8. Attend menu tastings and upsell to increase client spend and revenue.
9. Create and complete function sheets detailing all event requirements and attend weddings with the operations team.
10. Adhere to in-house accounting policies, complete billing invoices promptly, and chase debts.
11. Keep sales procedures and administrative duties up to date and timely, including proposals, contracts, follow-ups, and deposit payments.
12. Maintain good relationships with the venue and other Searcys sites.
13. Identify and support new leads for future business opportunities.
14. Proven experience in wedding sales and planning or a similar hospitality role.
15. Exceptional organizational, multitasking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
16. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
17. In-depth knowledge of wedding planning, industry trends, and local vendors in London.
18. Flexibility to work weekends with time in lieu.
