SEN Tutor in Cholsey, Oxfordshire
£20–£30 per hour | Flexible Hours | Part-Time/Contract
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Tutor to work with students in Cholsey and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning differences.
You’ll be confident working with primary and/or secondary aged students, and skilled at designing and delivering individualised learning plans across Key Stages 1 to 4, with a focus on Maths and English.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver one-to-one or small-group tuition in Maths and English (KS1–KS4)
* Assess learners' individual needs and tailor teaching accordingly
* Create and follow bespoke schemes of work based on student profiles
* Adapt resources and teaching methods to suit a range of SEN learners
* Track progress and communicate effectively with parents/carers
Requirements:
* Experience supporting students with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, dyslexia)
* Strong understanding of primary and/or secondary curriculum
* Ability to plan, assess and deliver tailored learning sessions
* Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
* Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain)
