Responsibilities:
6. Responsible for accuracy & integrity of all financial information reported within a subset of the UKI Advanced Solutions Business Unit (BU).
7. Support Group FRP&A function to:Ensure appropriate utilisation of GAAP & TD UAPEnsure accuracy of monthly accounts/results
8. Ensure appropriate accounting & operational controls are developed, documented and implemented to support existing & new commercial agreements with Customers and/or Vendors.
9. Working with BUD's to develop 3 year Financial Plan, Model P&L and strategic & operational plans.
10. Preparation of Annual Operating Plan Group, Quarterly Forecasts and Monthly Outlooks.
11. Monitor daily KPI tracking & drive actions to close gaps-to-plan.
12. Reporting & analysis of financial variances-to-plan along with plans for improvement.
13. Customer & Vendor rebate program review, tracking & maximisation.
14. Big deal analysis/recommendations.
15. Customer & Vendor profitability, ROCE analysis and improvement plans.
16. Business investment modelling.
17. Drive strategy & tactics to maximize BU financial performance – GP$, GP%, ROCE% and productivity.
18. Development of new commercial relationships – negotiation of structure, financial & operational T’s & C’s and related SLA’s.
19. Decision support for Credit Assessment & Inventory Procurement.
20. Identify risks & opportunities along with plans to manage both.
Knowledge Skills and Experience:
21. Qualified accountant
22. Proven track record in business partnering at a Senior Level
23. US and UK GAAP experience
24. SAP experience ideally
25. Forecasting and budgeting experience
26. Excellent communication and presentation skills
27. Strong interpersonal skills
