Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in restaurant cooking, food safety, and kitchen management. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing food production, ensuring high standards of food preparation, and fostering a positive environment within the kitchen.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and service.
* Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining quality.
* Supervise food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and adherence to recipes.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment.
* Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and professional development.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Handle any kitchen-related issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
* Proven experience at least 2 years as a Head Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant environment.
* Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
* Exceptional culinary skills with a passion for food production and preparation.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong organisational skills with the capability to multitask effectively.
* A background in hospitality is highly desirable.

Pay: £37,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
