Technical Manager
Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE
Location: Wirral – hybrid (minimum 2 days per week in the office)
Travel: Occasional trips to China when required
About the Role:
Join a small and dynamic team at a growing manufacturer in the fire and security sector. We’re looking for an experienced Technical Manager to lead and support our technical operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance across all processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support technical operations within the fire & security manufacturing environment
* Drive process and quality system improvements
* Contribute to the ongoing development of ISO 9001 standards
* Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to enhance product quality and performance
About You:
* Proven experience in a technical or engineering role within the fire & security or manufacturing industry
* Strong understanding of processes and quality systems (ISO 9001 experience essential)
* Experience working for a manufacturer is highly desirable
* Hands-on approach with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
