Associate Director, Data Architecture

Salary
: Up to £77,500 (Sheffield)/ Up to £90,000 (London) depending on experience
THE ROLE
In this role you will lead and own data and information architecture strategy including support (with engineering, analytics, enterprise architecture and data management specialist peers) for build and operations of new data ecosystem with data platform, automated ingestion solutions, data products and automated master data management and reference data management.
You will also represent all data and information change design needs across enterprise including chairing Data Architecture Review Board, and own and govern the use of analytical techniques, tools and models across the business.
This will include the design and operations of core enterprise tooling e.g. structured and unstructured data ingestion, Microsoft Fabric and associated MS data management tooling, and the development and operationalisation of the Reference Data Hub for entity mastering and internal/ external reference data, ensuring is fully automated and meets business and regulatory needs.
With Experience of owning and delivering cloud data architecture strategy and execution, you will also be demonstrate experience of leading data infrastructure transformation activities including modelling framework, master data management, data ingestion/ ETL, logging/ monitoring design, orchestration, pipelines, and being able to define enterprise architectures, strategies and roadmaps and tracking to completion
Knowledge of data management capabilities, data/ data architecture and technical delivery processes is also essential as is a deep technical understanding of Infrastructure and Microsoft Azure technologies
