Key Responsibilities
* Undertake statutory assessments of children's needs, risks, and circumstances
* Produce outcome-based plans reflecting the needs and risks to children and families
* Work directly with children, young people, and families to improve outcomes
* Assess and analyse risk using a strengths‑based, evidence-informed approach
* Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to deliver coordinated support
* Prepare accurate professional reports and maintain up-to-date case records
* Participate in multi-agency meetings and case conferences
* Ensure clear case transfer and step-down plans when cases move to other services
Requirements
* Recognised professional social work qualification and registration with Social Work England
* Demonstrable experience as a Social Worker – Assessment & Intervention, including statutory assessments and interventions
* Ability to work in a relationship-based, child-centred, multi-agency context
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
