Were supporting a defence engineering client who is looking for a Process Engineer (Lean / Continuous Improvement) to optimise manufacturing, assembly and test processes, improving productivity, reducing cost, and driving lead time and quality improvements.

The role will focus on structured problem-solving, continuous improvement deployment, and hands-on support to production across electronics and hardware assembly/testing.
Key Focus Areas Optimise key/supporting operational processes to improve productivity, cost, lead time and quality Resolve manufacturing/assembly/test issues using defined problem-solving approaches Identify and escalate risks, issues and improvement opportunities; liaise with project teams/leaders/sponsors Promote and embed a strong continuous improvement culture across the Defence team Improve the CI framework and approach in partnership with business stakeholders Implement PFMEA, 5S and Asset Care programmes for operational processes Support Supply Chain improvement initiatives xjlbheb Provide production support for electronics/hardware assembly & test troubleshooting Support non-conformance RCA and implement corrective actions Details Location: Hampshire Duration: 6-Months Rate: £380 p/d (Inside IR35) Clearance: BPSS required (SC preferred; can be put through if not held)
