Key responsibilities
As Junior Sous Chef, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, supporting the Senior Sous and Head Chef, leading from the front. Your duties will include:
12. Supporting the Senior Sous and Head Chef with the smooth operation of all kitchen services
13. Maintaining high standards across food quality, presentation, and consistency
14. The ability to follow recipes while adding energy and precision to every dish
15. Making sure food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards are kept
16. Support managing stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
17. Training, mentoring, and developing junior team members
