Apprentice Playworker Opportunity
We have a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring apprentice to join our team. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are ambitious and want to gain a playworker qualification while gaining practical experience. You will create meaningful relationships with children, your team, and parents.
Responsibilities
1. Supporting children: Providing care, play, and learning activities for children of different ages and developmental stages.
2. Creating a safe environment: Ensuring the crèche environment is inclusive and appropriate for children's needs and cultural backgrounds.
3. Communicating with parents: Sharing information about children's needs and progress with parents and carers.
4. Observing and assessing children: Monitoring children and discussing concerns with a line manager.
5. Maintaining records: Keeping records of attendance, contact details, and other relevant information.
6. Attending courses: Participating in courses and meetings to develop skills and knowledge.
7. Completing tasks: Completing tests, assignments, and other tasks as part of the apprenticeship.
8. Working with others: Collaborating with colleagues and other professionals to meet children's needs.
9. Following policies: Adhering to policies and procedures relevant to the work of the setting.

Other Requirements
* You must be a UK resident with at least 3 years of residency in the UK/EU.
* If you require a Visa, it must not expire before the apprenticeship end date (up to 24 months).
* GCSEs in English and maths at Grade C (4) or above, or the ability to achieve Level 2 English and maths during the programme.
This apprenticeship is an excellent opportunity for those looking to build a career in education and make a meaningful difference in children's lives. Progression opportunities include the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship, equivalent to an NVQ Level 3, with potential to advance to the Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner apprenticeship and further training towards Early Years Teacher Status.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, between 8 am and 6 pm, totaling 40 hours per week.
