Salary: £80 - £85 Per day
* Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development
* Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons for SEN students
* Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional help
* Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
* Collaborating with the SENCO and other professionals to implement individual education plans
* Assisting with the personal care and hygiene of students as required
* Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
* Relevant experience working with children or young people with SEN
* Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
* A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent)
* Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting
* Understanding of different learning styles and abilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN
* First Aid certification
* Mental Health First Aid training
* Work primarily within a classroom setting
* Regular interaction with students, teachers, and other education professionals
* Potential exposure to challenging behaviours or situations
* Full-Time hours with the possibility of occasional overtime

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
