Description Assistant Management Accountant APC Overnight is the UK's largest next day delivery network, with more than one hundred local Depots covering all areas of the country. We put our customers first and pride ourselves on offering a first-class service. This will be a role to support the Management Accountant with a mix of Daily, Weekly and Monthly analysis reports. Managing department purchase order workbooks in Oracle and Excel for control and financial reporting. As well as being responsible for key areas in the Monthly Management Accounts. This includes the Balance Sheet, Stock Control, Fixed Fleet costs, Capital Expenditure, process etc. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to get involved in all areas of the business. Main duties Main duties will include the production of the Daily, Weekly analysis reports, supporting the preparation of accurate weekly and monthly Management Accounts including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet. Assistance required for reviewing and controlling costs for different areas. You will be working around the Accruals, Journals, as well as general ledger and KPI Reporting. The successful candidate will ideally be part qualified ACCA or CIMA, have experience in a similar role, be enthusiastic with a flexible approach and be able to work on own initiative. Excellent communication, presentation and Excel skills needed.
