Our Future Health will be the UK’s largest ever health research programme, bringing people together to develop new ways to detect, prevent, and treat diseases. Diseases like cancer, dementia, diabetes, and heart disease affect the lives of many people in our communities. Our goal is to create a world-leading resource for health research, to improve our understanding and spot the patterns of how and why common diseases start, so treatments can begin sooner and be more effective.
We are hiring a Head of Content Design to lead the quality, clarity and safety of all participant and researcher facing content across our digital products and services.
As Head of Content Design, you’ll set the vision, standards and ways of working for content design across Our Future Health. Your role will encompass:
Content Design Leadership : Partner with other leaders to shape design strategy and strengthen user-centred design practice across the organisation; set content design principles, standards and patterns that enable high-quality, inclusive and coherent user experiences across digital and service journeys.
Content Design & Delivery : Lead content designers working across participant journeys, researcher products and service communications, delivering accessible, user-tested and behaviourally informed content.
Governance, Quality & Risk : Act as senior authority for product and service content where clarity, safety or risk are concerned.
Cross-functional Collaboration : Ensure content designers are embedded in the right teams from discovery through delivery, contributing to service blueprints and end-to-end journeys.
