Fire Risk Officer needed in South/South West, £42,283 pa

As our Fire Risk Officer, you will carry out Fire Risk Assessments of various premises.
* You will assess the fire strategy for all relevant Group buildings and parts of buildings in accordance with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
* You will liaise with external bodies such as Primary Fire Authority, contractors, consultants, Local Authorities, and other associations, ensuring regular inspections on all Group dwellings and buildings with common areas, undertaking fire risk assessments according to PAS 79.
* Your role will include managing timescales by issuing programmes of fire safety work to planned delivery teams.
Fire Risk Officers can manage site time and home/office time flexibly, with approximately 40% site-based and 60% home/office-based work. Successful candidates will cover the entire geographical area where the client has properties requiring fire assessments, including Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall, and London. Core assessments will be allocated near the candidate's location, but some travel to London may be required.
Ideally, candidates will:
* Have experience in carrying out fire risk inspections and producing reports, with substantial knowledge of fire risk assessment and fire safety in housing environments.
* Be able to manage their own time independently, organizing their diary effectively.
* Possess a full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes, due to significant travel requirements.
