What you’ll do
This role forms part of the Change Delivery & EPM Leadership team, working closely with the Change Portfolios and Technology Portfolio Management (TPM)
Enterprise Portfolio Management (EPM) focusses on:
* Runs UK&I change governance facilitating key decision making on cross portfolio prioritisation & dependency management up to Executive level
* Provides a single view of the UK&I roadmap, demand, capacity allocation and target business value
* Manages multi portfolio delivery trade-offs, structuring options and making recommendations on escalations
* Holds the decision makers to account on the impact of the decision on the key Sky strategies including orchestrating activities across CoEs (e.g. Customer Experience, Architecture) and stakeholder groups
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Alignment & Governance
* Lead the UK&I Enterprise Roadmap, ensuring portfolios and investment planning align with strategic priorities.
* Run and improve EPM governance with a clear weekly–annual cycle and an integrated business/tech view to drive prioritisation and decisions.
Cross‑Portfolio Prioritisation & Dependencies
* Oversee sequencing and dependencies across portfolios and partners, resolving conflicts.
* Create transparent forums providing a single source of truth.
* Manage launch sequencing, change freezes and coordination with Trading/Marketing and Tech.
Stakeholder Engagement
* Build strong relationships across Portfolio, Product, Tech and external partners.
* Promote cross‑team challenge and strategic thinking across the roadmap.
* Collaborate with Technology Portfolio Management on an aligned roadmap with clear progress visibility.
Driving Change & Value Delivery
* Champion value‑for‑money frameworks and quarterly ROI reviews.
* Improve cross‑portfolio ways of working, simplifying and standardising where beneficial.
* Partner with Technology to consolidate metrics into simple, automated UK&I reporting.
Team Leadership
* Lead and develop a small team delivering EPM activities.
* Contribute to a high‑performing Change & EPM leadership team
What You’ll Bring
* Substantial experience in programme and portfolio management in a senior role in complex corporate environments (either working in large multinational directly or in a Consultancy)
* Significant experience in leading Exec-level governance forums, managing prioritisation of £100m+ of investment and making recommendations to Exec stakeholders
* Demonstrated success in managing cross‑functional prioritisation, sequencing, and dependency resolution across business and technology domains.
* Able to assess, frame and structure complex problem simply in terms that key stakeholders can understand quickly and use to make strategically important decisions
* Strong understanding of resourcing models and ability to assess value for money and return on investment, with experience working with Agile methodologies
* Track record of managing operational dependencies and readiness across complex change programmes through multiple routes to market
* Good understanding and experience working with regulatory teams to assess the landscape and an understand of its implications
* Skilled in fostering strategic challenge and cross‑team collaboration to drive enterprise‑wide alignment.
* Able to build strong relationships with diverse cross functional teams, collaborate effectively with all levels of the organisation, and function well in a multi‑stakeholder environment
* Record of leading of diverse teams, driving performance, and inspiring others
