Job Purpose (No Sponsorship)
To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children in the nursery. To work as part of a team to provide a safe and stimulating environment that supports every childs development.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality childcare in line with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework.
* Support the planning and implementation of daily activities, routines, and learning opportunities.
* Observe, assess, and record each childs development and progress.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and team members.
* Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and secure.
* Encourage independence, confidence, and self-esteem in all children.
* Maintain confidentiality and follow safeguarding and child protection procedures.
* Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and CPD opportunities.
RequirementsEssential:
1. Level 3 qualification in Childcare (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, BTEC in Early Years).
2. Sound knowledge of EYFS, child development, and safeguarding.
