Laundry Driver – Job Advert
About the Role:
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Laundry Driver to join our team at Woodside Bay Lodge Retreat, part of Darwin Escapes’ collection of beautiful holiday destinations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in maintaining high standards and is committed to delivering excellent service to guests. As a Laundry Driver, you will play an important role in supporting the Housekeeping department by ensuring linen, supplies and other items are transported efficiently across the resort.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who is organised, physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
This is a permanent, part-time position working 24 hours per week, with variable days including weekends and bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
* Collect used linen boxes from lodges and deliver them to Housekeeping
* Distribute clean linen boxes across the resort
* Deliver large or bulky items around the resort as required
* Assist the Housekeeping team with operational duties where necessary
* Report lost and found property to Reception
* Ensure resort vehicles are used safely and responsibly
* Support high standards of cleanliness and organisation across the resort
* Follow all health & safety procedures and company policies
* Work efficiently to meet daily operational requirements

What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
* Full UK driving licence and confidence driving resort vehicles is essential
* Good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the role
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and use initiative
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Flexible approach to work
* Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and guest experience

Additional Information:
This role requires flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays in line with business needs.
The position is physically demanding and will involve regular lifting, carrying, walking and driving across the resort throughout the day.
Required Criteria
* Right to Live and work in the UK
* Excellent standards of customer service and care
* Good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the work
Desired Criteria
* Similar previous experience is an advantage
* A driving licence and the ability to drive is an advantage to enable easy travel to and from the resort
