Lecturer in Health and Social Care – FE College - Cambridgeshire
Location: Huntingdon Campus, Cambridge
Salary: £33,877 per annum
Weekly Hours: 30 hours (Mon-Fri, not Thursday)

The Role
As a Lecturer in Health and Social Care, you will teach across Level 2 and Level 3 Health and Social Care programmes, including the upcoming T-Level in Health Science (2026). Responsibilities include:
* Delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment
* Undertaking tutorial duties and supporting student welfare
* Potentially acting as course leader for one or more programmes
* Creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment
* Agile working arrangements considered on a case-by-case basis
The Ideal Candidate
* Relevant experience teaching Health and Social Care or Health Science programmes
* Occupational competency and experience in the Health sector
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring learners
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to provide effective academic and personal guidance as a personal tutor
* Knowledge of safeguarding and student welfare policies
* Relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification
* Full teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, DTLS) or willingness to complete Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training
