Are you a recent graduate looking to build a career supporting children with special educational needs? Pertemps Education is seeking a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm, inclusive SEN school in Lambeth that caters for pupils with autism (ASD), learning difficulties, and complex needs.
The Role:
Support pupils across the school on a 1:1 or small group basis, helping them to access learning and develop essential life skills.
Assist the class teacher and therapy team in delivering tailored learning activities suited to individual needs.
Encourage social interaction, independence, and emotional regulation through structured routines and positive reinforcement.
Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals to provide holistic support for each pupil.
Contribute to a safe, engaging and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.The Ideal Candidate:
A graduate in Psychology, Education, Sociology, Sports Science, or a related subject.
Passionate about supporting children and young people with SEN.
Patient, resilient, and adaptable to meet the diverse needs of learners.
Previous experience in schools, care, youth work, or SEN settings is beneficial but not essential — training will be provided.The School Offers:
