Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated a pharmacist to join our practice team. This position is suitable for a pharmacist with patient to deliver patient care. The ideal candidate will have great interpersonal skills and focus on patients care. As a Pharmacist, you will play a critical role working alongside other clinicians to deliver care to patients. Newly qualified pharmacists are welcome to apply. Full training will be provided
Responsibilities include
* Long-term condition review- Asthma, COPD and diabetes etc.
* dealing with patients' querires both in person and over the phone
* dealing with repeat prescription requests
* reviewing clinical letters and other admin jobs
Requirements
* A valid pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
* Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
* Independent prescribing status is desired but not essential
* Previous experience in general practice is desired but not essential
* Excellent communication skills, with a focus on patient care and education.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in medication management.
