Vehicle Technician
1. Location: Glasgow Area
2. Salary: up to £46,520 per annum DOE
3. Additional Earnings: Over-performance bonus + £2,000 sign-on bonus
4. Hours: 41 hours per week, Saturdays paid as overtime

A well-established automotive group is looking for a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join their busy Glasgow workshop. You’ll be a key technical expert—carrying out diagnostics, repairs and high-quality servicing while mentoring junior technicians and ensuring first-time fixes. Let me know your requirements as packages are available from PDI to Master technician level!
Key Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:
7. Perform advanced diagnostics, servicing and repair work to manufacturer standards.
8. Liaise with service advisors, customers and senior management to deliver excellent customer care.
9. Mentor and support apprentice technicians, sharing knowledge and best practice.
10. Maintain accurate records and uphold workshop efficiency and quality standards.
Qualities of the ideal Vehicle Technician:
11. Formal automotive qualification: City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
12. Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician.
13. MOT licence desirable but not essential.
14. Full UK driving licence and your own tools.
As a Vehicle Technician you will receive:
15. Salary: up to £46,520 per annum DOE
16. Additional Earnings: Over-performance bonus + £2,000 sign-on bonus (£1,000 paid in month one and £1,000 paid in month 13)
