Head of Conveyancing

Location: Bristol
Working Pattern: Hybrid

TSR Legal are pleased to be working with a well-established and highly regarded Bristol law firm that is looking to appoint a Head of Conveyancing to lead and develop its residential property offering.

This is a senior, hands-on role combining strategic leadership and management with high-quality fee earning, ideal for an experienced conveyancer who enjoys mentoring others while remaining close to clients and files.

The Role

As Head of Conveyancing, you will take overall responsibility for the conveyancing department, overseeing performance, compliance, and growth, while also managing your own caseload.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Leading, managing, and developing a team of conveyancers and support staff

* Setting and driving departmental strategy, standards, and best practice

* Maintaining strong compliance, risk management, and regulatory oversight

* Fee earning on a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters

* Acting as a point of escalation for complex or high-value transactions

* Supporting business development and contributing to the firms wider growth

* Working closely with partners and senior management to shape the future of the department
