Location: Based from home, In-person meetings 2-3x per month (London & client sites)
Salary: up to £60,000p/a with OTE up to £90,000p/a
General Purpose
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a driven and energetic individual to join the sales team as a Business/ Sales Development Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential customers, qualifying inbound and outbound leads, and setting up high-quality meetings for the sales team.
Youll play a key part in generating new business by using creative outreach strategies, researching target accounts, and initiating meaningful conversations with prospects. This is a fast-paced, target-driven role focused on pipeline development and lead qualification.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Generate and qualify leads for new business
Prepare sales plans and strategies
Complete tender/RFP formal procurement responses
Develop and maintain tailored sales and promotional materials
Work with marketing to execute business development strategies
Develop and deliver presentations to current and potential clients
Negotiate with prospects to secure new deals
Create and deliver sales proposals documents to clients
Maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports via CRM
Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
Diligently follow up on all sales activity
Identify and participate in sales events, show and exhibitions
Monitor competitors, market conditions and trends
Attend training and develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills

Education and Experience
Proven track record to achieve sales targets
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices of sales
Knowledge of basic business principles
Minimum 3 years experience in sales and/or account management
Strong and proven experience in client presentations
Knowledge of enterprise CRM systems (Salesforce, Dynamics etc.)

Compensation
Base: £60k per annum
Commissions: Percentage of deal (no cap) 8% for year 1 (double normal), reduce to 6% year 2 (negotiable depending on performance)
OTE = £90k+
