Responsibilities
* Recruit and train the best people for your team, ensuring they can deliver above and beyond by developing their operational and leadership skills.
* Coach your team to be passionate and knowledgeable about the products in your store, building its brand and providing customers with the right range, quality and service to keep them coming back.
* Lead your team in driving trade activity, using your expertise to grow sales and maximise profit.
* Lead and build your manager's knowledge to deliver and sustain the Store Change Plan and resource‑planned activities, ensuring hours are worked where they benefit customers most, and identify and resolve root‑cause issues with sustainable solutions and continual reviews.
* Ensure the safety of your colleagues is your top priority, coaching the team to use all security tools to provide a safer place to work.
Qualifications
* Excellent communicator who shares knowledge, experience and best practices, working collaboratively with the team to deliver results.
* Natural, welcoming with customers, putting them at the heart of everything you do, building strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
* Energy and resilience to keep momentum in challenging environments, owning decision making for the store and acting quickly for the benefit of customers and colleagues.
* Drive to deliver beyond expectation, doing the right thing when times are tough and consistently performing at best, inspiring confidence in those around you.
* Awareness of competitors and always looking for ways to build and deliver new initiatives to improve the store for customers.
