We’re looking for a passionate and proactive Technical Services Manager to join our team. This isn’t your typical job, you’ll be helping to make a real difference in residents’ homes and lives, ensuring our housing stock is safe, well-maintained, and efficiently managed.

What you’ll be doing
* Leading, motivating, and developing a team of repairs surveyors and voids administration staff to achieve performance targets
* Managing PA Housing contractors to deliver high-quality maintenance services consistently
* Overseeing disrepair cases within statutory timescales and liaising with solicitors and professional consultants
* Leading contract meetings for voids and mutual exchanges
* Providing technical advice and ensuring high standards of customer service across all activities
* Preparing detailed reports and performance data, including KPIs for inspections
* Developing and maintaining processes and procedures for responsive repairs and voids services
* Managing project budgets and reviewing pricing documents and variation requests
* Acting as Paragon’s Duty Surveyor for out-of-hours cover
What we’re looking for:
* A Degree or professional qualification; a Technical Qualification (HND/HNC/degree in building or maintenance) preferred
* Membership of MCIOB, RICS, or equivalent
* Recognised professional surveying qualification
* Strong knowledge of social housing management, maintenance works, repair specifications, and defect diagnosis
* Knowledge of housing/property management systems (e.g., Northgate), NHF Schedule of Rates, and health & safety regulations including CDM and asbestos
* Experience managing colleagues in a repairs environment and leading contractors
* High-level technical knowledge and analytical skills in a maintenance environment
* Ability to work at height or in confined spaces
* Knowledge of contract and commercial management, procurement requirements, and financial regulations
