Location: South Ruislip Remuneration: £14 - £15 per hour Contract Details: Temporary, Full-time (39 hours/week) Responsibilities: ✨ Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations, including turning, milling, drilling, and tapping. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine dimensions and tolerances. ️ Select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials needed for each job. Monitor machine operations to ensure optimal functioning and make adjustments as necessary. Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy using precision measuring instruments like callipers and CMM. Collaborate with team members to enhance production processes and efficiency. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety guidelines. Skills: Proficiency in machining techniques and processes. Experience in tooling selection, setup, and maintenance. Familiarity with CAD software for programming CNC machines. Knowledge of Mazatrol programming language (preferred but not required). Strong measurement skills with callipers, micrometres, and other hand tools.
