Role Title: Resilience Coach
Location: Deeside
Contract Type: Full time: Fixed Term - 30th June 2026
Salary: £29,935 - £32,608 (this is the full time salary, salary will be pro rata depending on working pattern)
We currently have a vacancy for a Resilience Coach to work in our Foundation Learning department.
The Resilience Coach will play a key role in enhancing learner engagement, development, and retention within Foundation Learning. This position involves supporting learners to help them engage in their learning and address any barriers hindering active participation.
The individual in this role will manage a bespoke caseload of learners, providing targeted support and coaching, as well as making referrals to counselling services and other external agencies as needed.
Additionally, the Resilience Coach will contribute to Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) for all learners to ensure effective progress towards established learner targets and outcomes.
Essential Requirements
1. Level 3 in Advice & Guidance
2. Currently holds a Level 2 Digital Literacy or is willing to work towards
3. Experience of working with 16-18 year olds.
4. Experience of working with disaffected youth/ NEETs
5. Good knowledge of agencies involved in the support of young people in NE Wales
6. Able to work as part of a wider team, and be flexible and adaptable when required
7. Able to plan and manage own workload, ensuring deadlines are met.
8. Able to demonstrate personal resilience in order to cope with a range of difficult situations
9. Empathy with deal with young people
10. Ability to deal with sensitive situations
Welsh language skills are desirable for this position.
