About The Role
Please note: We have full-time vacancies for Care Assistants for both Days and Nights, working on a seven-day rota, with shifts from 8-8.
As a Care Assistant at HC-One, you’ll value kindness above all. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every team member understands that our residents are individuals with their own stories.
Joining HC-One offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to these individuals.
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and committed Care Assistants to join our team. Whether providing long-term or short-term, convalescence, respite, or palliative care, our focus remains on delivering the highest quality service.
As a Care Assistant, under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the physical, emotional, and social well-being of residents. Your duties include assisting with personal care activities such as washing, hygiene, dressing, and helping with meals.
Deliver care with compassion, ensuring residents retain their dignity and individuality. Engage in activities within the care home, support mobility, provide emotional support, and deliver end-of-life care, always prioritizing residents' well-being.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the procedures for reporting concerns. All staff must attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and seek advice or escalate concerns when necessary.
