About the Role
As an IT Support Technician, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality technical support to council staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and services. You’ll be the first point of contact for technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions across hardware, software, and network systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide first and second-line technical support to users across the council.
* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
* Assist with the setup and maintenance of IT equipment and systems.
* Support the rollout of new technologies and upgrades.
* Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
* Contribute to IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
