Key responsibilities: Conduct detailed mechanical inspections in line with established quality standards and customer specifications. Programme and operate CMMs using PC-DMIS to deliver efficient, accurate inspection results. Carry out general manual inspection using a range of standard measuring equipment. Identify, document and report non-conformances, working closely with production to resolve issues. Prepare, maintain and interpret inspection reports, logs and records. Ensure all inspection and measuring equipment is correctly calibrated, maintained and used safely. Qualifications and skills: Proven experience in a mechanical inspection role within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment. Strong PC-DMIS programming experience for CMMs (essential).
