The Role
Are you a qualified Chartered Accounting Professional (ICAS, ACA, or ACCA) passionate about providing financial services within the Medical Sector? We are looking for an ambitious Business Services Assistant Manager or Manager to join our teams in Leeds or Newcastle. This role has been created due to growth in our Healthcare portfolio and aligns with our goal to be the best accounting and financial advisory firm in the UK.
As a Business Services Manager, you will manage a diverse client portfolio, ensuring exceptional service while fostering team collaboration and performance. Responsibilities include:
* Completing and submitting financial statements (Partnership FRS105 and FRS102 1A), business and personal taxation for your clients by deadlines
* Managing a portfolio of Medical Sector clients such as GP practices, hospital-based consultants, medical companies, dental practices, pharmacies, and care homes
* Providing technical support to team members and managing line duties (1-1s, goal setting, reviews)
* Resolving complex queries and liaising with clients
* Reviewing work prepared by team members for quality and compliance
* Participating in client meetings alongside Relationship Managers
* Building professional relationships and networks to generate new business

The Candidate
Ideal candidates will have:
* A Full UK Driving Licence
* Qualification as ICAS, ACA, or ACCA
* Experience in an accounting role within an accountancy practice
* Passion for the Medical Sector and familiarity with relevant legislation
* Ambition and team leadership qualities
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
