We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Valet Supervisor to join our ever-growing team The position is for our main sales site in Rainham (RM13 8RH), however training will be given at our Beckton (E6 5LU) preparation site until your manager is satisfied with your performance before moving to the Rainham site permanently. You will be responsible for managing a team of 3-5 people daily but will increase depending on levels business moving forward. We are looking for someone to work a minimum of 5 days per week were working Fridays and Saturdays are essential as those days are our busiest periods in the week. Overtime will be available accordingly to staffing levels and business needs.
Main Duties:
* Managing the valet team daily to meet daily business requirements and to communicate with relevant team members from other departments to ensure a smooth workflow.
* Being able to multitask and solve problems that may occur using your initiative and common sense
· Help clean and inspect vehicles before and after preparing cars for either viewings or collection
· Making sure all cars are presented to a high standard ready for customers
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the car wash area.
* Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and everyone else
* Assist in inventory management by reporting low stock levels of cleaning supplies.
* Report any issues with line manager accordingly
* Organising staff members breaks accordingly throughout the day
* Driving and moving cars within the facility with care and safety in mind
Experience:
* Previous experience in a similar role is essential in the motor trade
* A decent knowledge of various types of cars would be advantageous.
* A valid manual driving licence is a must
* Experience driving various types of vehicles is advantageous.
* Strong communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Willingness to learn new skills related to vehicle care and cleaning techniques.
Working hours will be 9am-6pm Monday-Saturday and 10am-5pm on Sundays. However the operations hour may change from 9am-7pm Monday-Saturday and there may be a requirement to do additional hour.
