About the role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Events & Exhibitions Manager to join their talented team of events professionals. As a key member of the Communications and Corporate Affairs organization, you will support the business and top management by managing events, exhibitions, and VIP visits across the UK.
Responsibilities
* Act as a project manager before, during, and after events or visits, ensuring timely delivery and high quality.
* Plan and execute protocol and event activities in the UK, primarily for the Defence and Space division, with responsibilities across the organization.
* Support the organization and management of UK-based exhibitions for all divisions.
* Arrange and facilitate VIP, media, and industry visits.
* Develop tailored event and exhibition concepts to meet stakeholder needs.
* Coordinate subcontractors and manage the event budget.
* Organize post-event reviews to capture lessons learned.
* Ensure events uphold the company's corporate image and brand standards.
* Collaborate closely with colleagues across the business.
Candidate requirements
* Extensive experience in events management with a strong understanding of protocol activities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
* Good knowledge of the company, industry, and compliance regulations.
* Proficiency in office software (Word, Excel) and online event management tools.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
